Park near the Auberge des Chasseurs, at the entrance to Miribel-Lanchâtre, in the hamlet of L'Achard.
(S/E) Continue along the road until you reach a Y-junction at the entrance to Lanchâtre.
(1) Stay on the road, then turn right, then left, passing in front of the church. Take Rue du Four and join Route des Crêtes.
(2) Turn right and continue for about 100 metres until you reach a relay antenna.
(3) Take the path on the left to reach an orientation table and a memorial stone.
(4) Turn left again and follow the road for a few metres, then turn right onto the yellow marked trail. Pass above the hamlet of Vernay. A gradual climb, interspersed with a few steep sections, will take you to the Col de Soliet.
(5) Turn right onto the Crête de la Ferrière, then ignore the paths you come across to reach the highest point in the Pré de Playnet.
(6) Continue along the Crête du Jonier, descending to a crossroads of paths on a flat section.
(7) Turn right into Combe Ravier, continue downhill through the woods, and reach the edge of the woods at Ruisseau de Cassoulet.
(8) Continue downhill and return to the initial crossroads at the entrance to Lanchâtre.
(1) Take the road in the opposite direction to reach the Achard car park (S/E).
