Access to the starting point, Rue de la Corbière, by bus 12A or 22 from the bus station in Saint Helier.
(S) With your back to the bus stop, turn left and continue straight ahead until you reach the car park just after the right-hand bend. Take a few moments to enjoy the magnificent view of Corbière Lighthouse.
(1) Then return by the same route to the restaurant and go around it on the left to join the coastal path at a car park. Continue left on the path that runs along the coast and reach the desalination plant pipeline, located a little above.
(2) Cross the pipe, turn right to descend, then continue along the coastal path. Pass near a radar and arrive at the Jersey prison grounds.
(3) Turn right (Chemin des Signaux) and go around the prison to the south to continue along the coast to the Beauport Beach car park.
(4) The car park is on the left and there are paths leading to the beach on the right. Follow the road for a few metres, then take the path on the right. Go down towards Sainte-Brélade Bay and, at the end of the path, continue left on the tarmac road until you reach the crossroads, opposite the entrance to Saint-Brélade cemetery.
Turn right and go around the church and cemetery to the north, following the road for a few metres until you reach the corner of the wall.
(5) At low tide, turn right onto the road leading down to the beach. On the left is the house of Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore. Walk along the beach across Saint-Brélade Bay.
At high tide, take the promenade that runs along the bay. (Public toilets are available on the promenade.)
Continue to the end of the beach.
(6) Take the steps on the right, then follow the path that leads back up to the cliff. At the top, keep right and continue to a multiple intersection.
(7) Turn left and head to the Portelet Common car park.
(8) Turn right onto Chemin du Portelet (a quiet road) then turn right onto Rue Mont du Ouaisné. Proceed with caution for about 100 metres as the road is narrow with walls on either side and heavier traffic.
(9) At the four-way intersection, turn left onto Route de Noirmont and continue for about 200 metres until the next fork.
(10) Turn right onto Rue de Haut, which is narrow with walls on both sides but has little traffic and a speed limit (it is a "green lane"). After the straight stretch, descend towards Saint-Aubin, continue straight ahead to the port of Saint-Aubin (on the left, direct access to the centre of Saint-Aubin) and follow it to the end.
(11) Keep right and follow the coast. (Public toilets a few metres away, near the beach.)
(12) At low tide, walk along the beach across the bay until it narrows and return to the promenade.
At high tide, continue along the promenade.
(13) Continue along the promenade, following the Jardins de la Mer park until you reach the corner.
(14) Cross the avenue and continue right on the Esplanade to Liberation Square, in the centre of Saint Helier (E).
