Col de Lauchen walks
The Lauchenkopf
A moderately difficult hike of about 6 hours through stubble fields, forests, passes and peaks.
The difficulties are mainly at the beginning, after which it's smooth sailing.
Around the Klintzkopf
Lake, high-altitude forest and stubble fields: a concentration of the beauty of the Vosges with the added bonus of a magnificent panorama.
Refreshments available at a farmhouse inn along the route.
Particularly pleasant in autumn when the beech trees turn yellow and mushrooms abound in the undergrowth.
Chaumes and forests of Lauchen
Near the source of the Lauch, on the secondary ridge between Breitfirst and Petit Ballon, Lauchen is an area of stubble fields with remarkable views and forests, including the most beautiful and highest altitude beech forests in the Vosges mountains. It is also a peaceful area, within the Guebwiller integral biological reserves, dominated by the Klintzkopf, home to the emblematic animal of the Vosges, the capercaillie or wood grouse.
Sengern, Grand Ballon, Markstein, Petit Ballon and Sengern in 2 or 3 days
A very varied route to reach the highest point of the Vosges and walk along the ridges, enjoying numerous panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. The Petit Ballon massif also offers a very beautiful setting.

From Lake Longemer to Lake Blanchemer
The first stage of a two-day bivouac hike with an overnight stay at Lac de Blanchemer, passing by Lac du Lispach, which is reminiscent of a Canadian landscape, and the Machais peat bog.
Difficulty and beautiful views sum up this first stage.
Gérardmer - Les Champis
First stage of the Gérardmer Mini-Trek. On this first day, you will discover the aerial landscapes of Le Poli and the heights of Lispach, as well as the isolated stubble fields above the Vologne Valley. This stage allows you to make steady progress towards the Chalet des Champis, where you will spend the night. It is also an opportunity to spend a night in an unguarded cabin that has (almost) everything to please: isolated and at least a 30-minute walk from any built-up area, in the middle of the thatched cottages, accessible to all and all year round...It is a must-see in the area.
