Description of the walk

Start the walk at Place du Souvenir opposite the signpost for the trails.

(S/E) Head towards the D14, then turn left to reach the church. Opposite the church, turn right, then left and repeat to go around the town hall. Follow the dirt track until you cross the D104 , taking care.

(1) Take the dirt road that joins the Valprivas road at Riolon (D14.4).

(2) Turn right, then take the path on the left, which climbs up to a road.

(3) Turn right and continue along the road until you reach the dirt track. Follow this track. Then take the path on the left until you reach the Pont du Pêcher.

(4) Cross this bridge over the Bezan, then turn right at the fork. Continue along the path, then take the trail on the right that joins the Départementale 104.

(5) Follow the road, then turn left once you reach the Bezan river. Follow the river until you reach the Route du Mont. Then turn right immediately until you reach a crossroads.

(6) Continue along the road on the right, take the road on the left, then the road on the right. Continue until you reach Route de Chazourne. Follow it to the left and pass the Montsoleil cross.

(7) Take the path that climbs after the cross. Continue along the path until you reach Route de Saint Bonnet. Cross it, go straight ahead and take the path on the right. Keep right until you reach the road. Climb this road and keep right until you reach the hamlet of Crozet Pêcher.

(8) Cross this hamlet and take the path on the right. Go up the path, then turn left. Follow this path to the hamlet of Gréziecq.

(9) Cross it and take the path that climbs to the right until you reach the hamlet of Malfrey.

(10) Turn right and climb the path opposite the road. Turn left and descend to the hamlet of Vignal.

(11) Turn left, cross the Rozier road and take the path that descends to the right to the hamlet of Malacombe.

(12) Continue along the path on the right until you reach a road. Then continue left to the hamlet of La Valmitte.

(13) Turn right until you reach the bachats. Then descend to the stream. Follow the path up to the hamlet of Crozet.

(14) Take the path on the right up to the Route de La Combe.

(15) Turn right, then take the path on the left. Continue to the woods on the right and turn right, then straight ahead until you reach the hamlet of Devey. In the hamlet, turn left, then right and climb up to the orientation table.

(16) At the orientation table with a view of the Haute-Loire mountains, descend on the other side and take the road that descends to the bachats, then continue on the dirt road. Turn right at the fork in the small path. Descend to the road (D42).

(17) Turn right onto this road, then take the path that climbs directly to the right. Take the climb, then turn left.

(18) Go down the path until you cross the Aigue-Blanche.

(19) Go back up to the hamlet of Valtaillet. Cross the road, go up, then turn right at the intersection. Go down, then cross the road again to go down to the Pont du Rasa de Cusson. Go up the river to the Moulin du Perrier. Go up the path and cross the road to go back up to the hamlet of Perrier.

(20) Opposite the fountain, take the path that branches off to the right until you reach the hamlet of Riolon. From there, retrace your steps back to the village. The circuit is complete (S/E).
