In the village of Lennon, park in Place de l’Église.
(S/E) With your back to the church, turn right opposite a beautiful stone house, cross the road and take Route de Kergoniou. At the small roundabout, turn right, following the road which descends gently (signposted Kerzidré Kermagon).
(1) At a place called Kerzidré, the road turns left, leaving the large Kerlosquer farm on your right. Continue on to reach the partly abandoned hamlet of Kermargon.
(2) At the entrance to the hamlet, turn left onto a fairly steep, unpaved path through the woods. Follow this lovely sunken path down to the towpath, where you turn right.
(3) Follow the canal bank for about 4.5 km. Pass the first lock and an area with picnic tables to reach Rosvéguen Lock.
(4) Go past the lock and continue to the Ti Men Bridge, then turn left at the footbridge for a return trip to the barge “Le Victor”.
(5) Retrace your steps and, at the road, continue to the right towards Lennon for about a hundred metres.
(6) Turn right onto an uphill track which curves left to cross the hamlet of Kernivinen. Continue until you reach the Lennon road, which you follow until the first road on the left (signposted Chapelle Saint-Nicolas and Chapelle Saint-Maudez).
(7) Turn left, pass the Chapelle Saint-Nicolas and its fountain, and continue up the small road. At the three-way junction, turn left to reach the Chapelle Saint-Maudez, also known as Narc’h Gwen, named after the locality.
(8) Retrace your steps, cross the junction, take the path opposite (old sign) and continue left towards Kerprimel (old well) along a tarmac road. Follow the track down into the valley, where it turns right and rejoins the Route de Lennon you left earlier. Follow it for 200 m on the left until you reach a wayside cross.
(9) At the wayside shrine, turn left onto a stony path and follow it for about 900 m.
(10) At the junction with a road, turn right and continue to the Croaz Restavel wayside cross marked ‘Mission 1937’.
(11) Turn right, keeping to the right-hand side of the hard shoulder along the D89, which leads to Place de L'Église (S/E).
