Park in the Place du Fond de la Ville, next to the Arize.
(S/E) Cross the bridge at the end of the square and take the road that climbs to the left for about 300 m. Then fork left, following the signs for "Dolmens" on a wooden signpost, and climb up to the tarmac road at Cap de Pouech.
(1) Take the tarmac track on the right. This path climbs up and then bends around a hairpin bend.
(2) At the second bend, take the path on the left, following the signs for "Dolmens de Brillaud, Couminge" on a wooden signpost. After a short, fairly steep climb, the path returns on a false level through sparse oak woods and offers a beautiful, unobstructed view of the surrounding area on both sides.
(3) At the crossroads, turn left onto the path that quickly veers right towards the Brillaud or Seignas dolmen, which can be reached in around twenty minutes.
(4) Walk past the dolmen and continue for 4 km to the Sentier de Montfa crossroads, following the signs for "Couminge" on a wooden signpost.
(5) Turn left uphill onto the Sentier de Montfa: the Dolmen de Couminge is a few dozen metres on the left (it is not visible from the path, so go out of your way to see it). Take the gravel path to the right of the house, signposted "Camarade", go through the hamlet and then slightly downhill to the left. After less than a hundred metres, turn right towards "Camarade" on the path that leads down to the D15.
(6) Cross the D15 and turn right up the hill for about 200 m, then turn left onto the path which runs below and continues along a grassy track to the D915.
(7) Turn left onto the D915 towards "Lézères" for approximately 200 m, cross this road and continue along the path which descends to the right and crosses the Ruisseau de Camarade at a ford which is often dry. Join the hamlet of Cazalas, which you cross by following the small road to the left.
(8) At the end of the hamlet, continue towards the hamlet of Lézères, go straight through it and join the D15. Follow this road to the right for 500 m.
(9) Leave the D15 and take the small road that climbs to the left towards Seignas de Dessous. After 200 m, leave this small road and turn right onto the path that leads to the Lapostoul farm.
(10) Pass to the right of the new house next to the farm and continue for a few dozen metres up the gravel path. At the drinking trough on the right, go through the fence that opens up and head towards the wooden gate a few metres above the drinking trough. Go through it and take the slightly uphill path that leads to Millorat farm after joining a small tarmac road.
(11) At Millorat farm, turn left onto the track (wooden sign for "Dolmens") and continue until you reach the intersection with the small road to Bidot.
(12) Turn right as far as the Cap de Pouech dolmen, visible on the right.
(13) Continue along this road past the dolmen to the fork in the road where the descent begins.
(1) A hundred metres or so after the start of the descent, turn right onto the Chemin de Mathilde, which descends fairly steeply to Mas-d'Azil, where you must cross the Arize and rejoin the D119.
(14) Almost immediately, turn left into Rue Grande Route, then left again towards the church and rejoin the starting point, Place du Fond de la Ville(S/E).
