Park in the car park at the Chaux-la-Lotière swimming pool.
(S/E) From the swimming pool car park, turn right, head down towards the village and pass in front of the town hall.
(1) Go around the headless rooster fountain on the right and continue along Rue du Cordonnet. Pass the ponds on your left and continue uphill until you reach the edge of the village.
(2) Turn left and enter the woods. Continue to Rochefort, passing the round fountain on your way.
(3) In Rochefort, turn right onto Rue des Pelouses and continue along the path beside Combe de Blaise.
(4) Turn left onto a small dirt track at Combe de Blaise and follow the signs to the magnificent viewpoint (La Dame Blanche to the south and Les Monts-de-Gy to the west).
(5) Then descend southwards to a road.
(6) Cross the road, continue under the pine, fir and larch trees of the Massif de la Foulnière and descend to the hamlet of La Lotière.
(7) Turn left onto the main street.
(8) Just before leaving the hamlet, turn left, go up a white path and gradually descend to Chaux-la-Lotière along this peaceful country lane. Continue along the streets to reach the main street, Rue de Boult.
(1) Take this street on the right to reach the swimming pool car park (S/E).
