(S/E) From the start, head down towards the village centre. Take the third turning on the right, Rue de la Tuilerie, then turn left at the end of the street. Walk past the fountain and, at the junction, turn left onto the road towards Rioz until you reach a Y-junction with a footpath, just outside the village.
(1) Follow the path, enter the oak and beech woodland, continue straight on until you reach the tarmac track and head straight across to the pond.
(2) Walk alongside the Tréfilerie pond and continue along the D33 to the next Fork in the road.
(3) At the fork in the road, turn left onto Rue du Valère. Stay on the main road, which leads to the centre of the village of Montarlot-lès-Rioz, passing the castle. At the end of the road, continue straight ahead to the crossroads in the centre of Montarlot-lès-Rioz.
(4) Take the first left, pass the church and turn right until you reach the last houses.
(5) Take the path on the left as you leave the village, heading towards Petit Montarlot. When you reach the road, keep straight ahead onto a path climbing to the left of it. Follow this path to where it ends on the Chemin de la Monotte.
(6) Head down to the left to reach the village of Cordonnet. At the entrance to the village, carry on straight ahead until you reach the third junction on the left via Rue du Lavoir (cross on the right-hand side), Chemin du Vieux Prés.
(7) Follow this path to reach Le Petit Montarlot at a Fork in the road. Leave the path on the right and take the tarmac road on the left.
(8) It heads south. Continue along the main track, following the forest road.
(9) Take the hairpin bend to the left onto the forest track, turn right twice, then left to join the white track.
(10) Carry on along the unpaved track until you reach the campsite, then continue on to the starting point (S/E).
