Park in the school car park, next to the Thierry and Bruno Dumu stadium (the hiking information board is located between the two car parks).
(S/E) Take the road that runs alongside the school, passing on its right-hand side. At the end, turn left, then right along the sports field.
(1) At the intersection of the paths, continue straight ahead and do the same at the tarmac road. The two paths immediately fork; take the one on the right. When the path ends at another tarmac road, take it on the left.
(2) Turn right at the first turn onto a dirt road towards the water tower. Just after the water tower, continue straight ahead at the intersection. At the bottom of the descent, ignore the path that turns sharply to the left and the one on the right, and cross the small bridge over the Petite Choisille.
(3) After the bridge, turn right into the Roche Buard housing estate. Take the first left before the dead end. When the path ends in a T-junction, turn right and continue straight ahead, ignoring the first left.
At the end of the Proverderie housing estate, follow the bend in the road to the right, then immediately turn left onto the path just before the bridge.
(4) Before reaching the Gâte-Soie buildings, turn left along the enclosure (recent modification to the rural path, May 2019).
Follow the path between the enclosures; at the first T-junction, turn right, then quickly turn left at the second junction (just after Gâte-Soie) onto Allée du Gâte-Soie.
Leave Allée du Gâte-Soie by taking the first path on the right (Chemin de la Bigottière), before entering the new housing estate.
(5) At the end of the road, turn right (D338). Continue straight on towards the town centre (wash house on the right), passing the church and the town hall.
(6) Cross the small square and take the small street (Rue de l'Espérance) which continues straight ahead to the right of the main street. Turn right at the first turn (Allée des Chevalleraies), then left at the fitness trail equipment to cross the small bridge. Continue to the right just after the bridge, between the field and the ditch. At the fork, continue to the left, between the private gardens and the ditch.
(7) At the end of the grassy path, do not enter the housing estate; cross Rue de la Noue Guilloche straight ahead and take the path on the left that runs alongside the garden of the first house.
(1) At the intersection, turn left to return to the starting point, walking past the school again after the sports field (S/E).
