Start at the car park located between the town hall and the church in Ingrannes. If this is full, there is another car park 150 m away on Rue de Vitry-aux-Loges.

(S/E) On the main street, Rue de la Mairie, take the Route des Essarts towards “les Essarts”, with the church on your left. At the hamlet of les Essarts, cross the side street and continue along the path opposite.
(1) Turn right when you reach a wide, compacted cross-road known as Rue du Gâtinais.
(2) Cross Route de Vitry-aux-Loges, heading towards “Arboretum des Grandes Bruyères”. Pass the arboretum on your right.
(3) At the fork, continue straight ahead to reach the vast Étang de la Comtesse.
(4) Turn around and return to the fork you passed earlier.
(3) Keep strictly to the left to join a grassy path, which is less frequented. Ignore the side paths until you reach the bridge over the Cens, recognisable by an old lock.
(5) Continue north-west along the small road.
(6) At the crossroads of four roads, enter the village – the entrance is signposted “Ingrannes” – by turning right onto Route de Fay-aux-Loges. Ignore the side roads until you reach the starting point of the walk, where Route de Fay-aux-Loges becomes Rue de la Mairie (S/E).
