Park in the Tannenkirch car park at the entrance to the village when coming from Ribeauvillé.

(S/E) Continue along the path at the back of the car park. When the path splits in two, take the one that climbs gently to the left; the one on the right, which is steeper, is the return path.
(1) Take the first path on the right, which leads to a forest track. Continue to the right, following the markings, and stay on this path until you reach a crossroads with several paths and tracks.
(2) Continue straight ahead on the path, which begins a steeper climb, and continue to the next crossroads, where you turn right.
(3) Immediately afterwards, follow the forest track to the left, then take the first path on the left at the sign for Château Haut Ribeaupierre. Continue straight ahead towards Château Haut Ribeaupierre.
(4) Take the path on the left, which will lead you directly to Château du Haut Ribeaupierre, located on your left at the top of the hill.
(5) Visit the castle and return to the path to continue on the left. The path narrows and the descent is steeper, but you will enjoy beautiful views as you arrive at Château Saint-Ulrich.
(6) Take the path on the left to reach Château du Girsberg.
(7) From the castle, there are beautiful views of Ribeauvillé and Château Saint-Ulrich. Then retrace your steps and pass Château Saint-Ulrich again.

(6) Continue straight ahead on the path towards Dusenbach. Ignore the two paths that climb up to the right (possible shortcuts).
(8) Take the first path down to the left towards Dusenbach. The path leads to a bend in the road that leads to the monastery.
(9) Follow it and visit the monastery. Then turn back.
Blue Triangle Markings
(9) Back at the bend, go around the barrier to climb the very steep path along the stream. A third of the way up, cross a path and continue along the path opposite, still following the stream, until you reach the end.
Red Circle Markings
(10) Take the path that climbs to the right and leads to the Carrefour du Cerisier Noir. Cross the crossroads and take the path opposite that descends (signposted "Thannenkirch direct"). Stay on the descending path that goes to the right.
(11) Continue downhill on the path on the left at the Christian stele. Stay on this path, which will take you to the car park at the entrance to the village (S/E).
