Refine your search for walks in Chapelle Saint-Jean-Baptiste (Illins)
The Villette-de-Vienne pond and the Combe des Brigands starting from Luzinay

Starting from Luzinay, between wetlands and shady forests. Beautiful views of the Pilat Massif, the Vercors Massif and the Lyon metropolitan area. Depending on the season, between the start (S/E) and point (3), you may see storks resting in the wetlands of the Sévenne valley, grey herons and great egrets. The first part of the route, up to point (6), is mainly flat terrain on small roads with little traffic during the day and a few small paths. After the village of Villette-de-Vienne, deer and pheasants can often be seen on the hillsides, for those who know how to be discreet and observant. The end of the route takes you close to the medieval chapel of Illins (11th and 13th centuries) and its cemetery. There are no particular difficulties in terms of orientation, but signposts are rare if not non-existent.
