After Couflens, pass Salau and follow the D3 to the second hairpin bend. There is a small car park on either side of the road. Please note: vehicles must be allowed free access to this road.
(S/E) Take the time to read the information panels recounting the history of this route linking France and Spain in the 19th century. Follow the wide road.
(1) After 400 metres, you will come to the Neuf Fontaines with a magnificent beech tree. Continue along the path.
(2) You will see signs for the Léziou Waterfall and hear it in the distance. Follow the small path on the left that leads to the foot of the waterfall.
Retrace your steps and take the path on the left to its terminus. The slope on this section is slightly steeper.
(3) At the end of the path, you will arrive at a vast grassy area crossed by numerous small streams. A sign indicates the access to the Bégé waterfall, which can be reached by taking a path on the left.
(4) There is a beautiful view of the waterfall. This is an ideal spot to have a bite to eat before heading back to the car park where you started (S/E).
