Park in the car park at the Andlau Waterfall (or Hohwald Waterfall), about 2 km to the right after Hohwald.
(S/E) Head west towards the Andlau Waterfall.
(1) At the waterfall, climb to the top on the right to reach the top of the falls, continue without crossing the river and arrive at a fork.
(2) Take the path on the right, marked with a red rectangle, towards Vieille Dairy Farm. Continue along this path, which crosses a forest road and arrives at a fork.
(3) Turn right towards Vieille Dairy Farm, following the new red and white rectangle markings. Cross several tracks and a forest road to reach Vieille Dairy Farm.
(4) Continue on the left branch, then left again at the next fork to reach a new fork.
(5) Keep left on the main path going uphill, marked with a red triangle, cross the D214 carefully, turn slightly right, then follow the path downhill into the forest on the left until you reach a crossroads.
(6) Turn left onto a wide path and, at the hairpin bend in the track, follow the path straight ahead which leads to a stream.
(7) Cross it and continue along the same path heading north-west, which joins a wide path.
(8) Do not follow the main path that turns right. As before, at the hairpin bend in the path, take the path straight ahead marked with a red triangle. At the next fork, keep right on the marked path until you reach a crossroads and a right-hand bend in the track. Look for the path on the left between two trees and cross the Ruisseau de la Serva via a footbridge.
(9) Be careful! The red triangle trail turns right (not very visible).
(10) Go up to the left on the path towards Cascade de la Serva (wooden signs) and you will come to a fork.
(11) Stay on the left-hand path, marked with a yellow triangle, and head south to Cascade de la Serva.
(12) After the waterfall, continue along the main path with the same markings. Do not follow the paths and trails branching off to the left. Stay on the path towards Champ du Feu and you will reach a fork.
(13) At the square, turn left onto the path marked with a yellow cross and yellow triangle and follow it to the top, at the D414.
(14) Cross the road carefully and continue along the path, following the red-white-red rectangle and blue easel markings, until you reach a ski slope.
(15) Turn left to cross the ski slope, heading towards Chaume des Veaux, and join the D214.
(16) Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead towards Chaume des Veaux, following the blue signposts, and descend, still going straight ahead, to the Chaume des Veaux forest road.
(17) Turn left onto the road and continue until you reach the hairpin bend.
(18) Leave the road and turn right onto the path marked with a red disc. After 200 m, turn right onto the path with the same markings and continue straight ahead on this path, which crosses several other paths, including the Route Forestière du Zundelkpf. You will come to a small bridge.
(19) Cross it and, 200 m further on, you will find yourself back at the top of the Andlau Waterfall, at the first crossroads of the circular route you passed on the way there.
(2) Opposite, and in the opposite direction to the outward journey, take the path that descends to the Andlau Waterfall car park (S/E).
