Description of the walk

Park below the Beausoleil picnic area on Route de la Soufrière (D11).

(S/E) Pass the picnic tables and continue along the path that crosses the Canal Lepelletier to the intersection.

(1) Turn left onto the Trace Delgrès trail heading north-west, pass Ravine Roche and arrive at a new intersection.

(2) Leave the return path on your right and turn left, following the same trail towards Rivière Noire. After about 300 m, you will reach the start of a path on your right.

(3) Leave the well-marked trail and descend to the right along a large pipe to the end to reach the river. Cross it and continue to Ravine Malanga.

(4) Take Ravine Malanga on the left and climb up to Cascade Malanga, among the large rocks.

(5) Retrace your steps to the second fork.

(2) Turn left and join the Canal Lepelletier.

(6) Leave the return path on your right and head straight ahead on the left towards the Rivière Noire and its basin.

(7) Admire the basin, then retrace your steps to the previous junction.

(6) Follow the Canal Pelletier to the left and return to the intersection you passed on the way there.

(1) Retrace your steps along the route you took on the way there until you reach the Beausoleil picnic area (S/E).
