Follow the D2816 and park in the car park next to a firefighting water tank. There are plenty of spaces.
(S/E) Take the access road for about 100 metres, then follow the path on the left. You will reach a crossroads at the top of the hill.
(1) Continue in the same direction. The descent is quite steep and slippery, so it is not recommended after rain. Join a track.
(2) Turn left, continue along the path and ignore a path branching off to the left further on.
(3) Take the next path on the left, which leads to the coastal path. Follow this path, turning left again. You will soon reach a three-way junction.
(4) This fork offers a choice. The upper path on the left is shorter and safer, while the lower path on the right is normally prohibited, but many people use it anyway. It is more difficult and dangerous. Turn left and keep heading east, ignoring the numerous paths branching off on either side. Pass the antenna and join the Notre-Dame du Mai trail.
(5) Continue to the right to reach the Notre-Dame du Mai Chapel.
(6) This chapel is open every day in May and on Sundays the rest of the year. The view of the sea and all the surrounding towns is breathtaking. Return to the fork.
(5) Follow the track to the right and take the left turn at the antennas.
(7) Leave the track by taking a small, fairly steep stony path on the left leading to the D2816.
(8) Cross carefully and rejoin the path opposite. Continue straight ahead, staying more or less parallel to the D2816, and return to the cistern car park (S/E).
