Romanin aerodrome via the Canal Septentrional des Alpines
This hike from Eygalières will take you to the Mazet de Romanin aerodrome along the Canal Septentrional des Alpines. If the weather conditions are favourable and you are patient, you will be able to watch the gliders take off and land. The return route takes you through the forest at the foot of the Alpilles via theGR®653D(Via Domitia - Santiago de Compostela). You will also cross the Roman bridge over the Gaudre de Romanin.
Notre-Dame du Château in Saint-Étienne-du-Grès from Les Baux-de-Provence
A circular loop starting from Les Baux-de-Provence, following the Crêtes des Alpilles with views of the Crau plain, Fonvieille, Arles and the Camargue. Then on to Saint-Étienne-du-Grès and the Notre-Dame du Château chapel with beautiful views of the Rhône plain, Tarascon and Beaucaire, along the Canal des Alpilles and back to Les Baux.
