Park in the carpool car park at the D7 roundabout, heading towards Douarnenez at the entrance to Locronan.
(S/E) At the back of the car park, exit via a passageway, go around the roundabout and continue towards the motorhome parking area.
(1) Turn left, walk along the car park, cross the road and enter the wooded area opposite. Continue until you reach the junction with a dirt track.
(2) Turn left and go down this path to reach the Chapelle de Bonne Nouvelle (wash house and large fountain). Go around the fountain and wash house on the right and continue downhill to the left until you reach the D63.
(3) Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead along the path lined with tree-lined embankments. Turn left then right and you will reach a T-junction (view of the bell tower of Plonévez-Porzay).
(4) Turn left and continue until you reach a small road on the right, which you should follow for about 100 metres.
(5) Turn left (signposted "lodge ruraux"), cross the farmyard and continue along this path. Pass the two farm entrances on your left, and further on, the Kerbléon farm on your right.
(6) Cross a small road and continue towards the Kermenguy farm on the right. At a house, turn into the sunken lane that goes straight up to join the D7.
(7) Cross carefully, first turn right then left, and take the small road opposite (signposted Le Mez). At the bend, leave this hamlet on your left and continue towards Plas ar Lochou. Pass the houses on your left (decorations), cross a small road, continue along a grassy path (house with dogs on your right) and arrive at the edge of the Bois de Névet.
(8) Turn right and follow the wide path bordered on the right by an intermittent fence. Ignore all the mountain bike and horse riding trails on the left and, just after a rustic bench, you will arrive at a crossroads.
(9) Leave the wide path at the edge and take a discreet footpath on the right (be careful to spot it). Follow this path, which runs alongside a meadow and fields on the left. At the end, turn left onto the farm track (fir tree plantation on the right), pass Coz Maner, then Lezascoët and come out onto a small road.
(10) Turn left, ignore the sign for Penn ar Vur on your right and continue straight down towards Vieux Châtel, where you will find the buildings of an IME (medical-educational institute). Walk along the estate and you will arrive at a car park.
(11) Turn left, walk along the car park, continue along the wide path at the edge, pass a path for people with reduced mobility and arrive at the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(9) Turn right and you will come to a crossroads.

(12) Turn left, continue straight ahead ignoring all the paths on the right and left, and arrive at the large forest avenue Hent Kreiz.
(13) Follow it to the left, passing the forest house on your left and the car park on your right, and continue along the road, following the path on the left-hand side. Pass the Latitude Ouest Hotel and you will come to a crossroads.
(14) Turn right, continue along the small road alongside a wood and, after passing a house, join a path that leads to the D63.
(15) Cross carefully and take the Route de Gorréquer opposite, which leads into Locronan. Pass the first houses and a road on the left.
(16) Immediately afterwards, turn left onto a narrow path between car parks and arrive at the fork in the road from the outward journey.
(1) Turn left and, following the same route as on the way there, return to the car park (S/E).
