Start at Place des Tours in Bozouls (at the bottom of the old Bozouls road).
(S/E) Opposite the small car park, take the path around two houses to the right and up towards Badet. The path joins a small road at the level of the houses, continue straight on. Leave the Badet path on the left and the path on the right, which is closed in by brambles. At the next junction, turn right towards Laumière and continue for 250m, then right again.
(1) After passing through the hamlet, turn right onto the track leading down to the Dourdou (stony path).
(2) Cross the Bacambou footbridge and take the track opposite that joins the road to Barriac (D581). Go down this road to the right for 200m, then fork left to climb the Pissarelle path to the picnic area (great view of Bozouls and the canyon).
Cross the Place du Portalet, then 50m to the left, take the Chemin de la Barriade. Follow this for 800m (after 200m, don't take the path that goes down to the right), then go down the steep, narrow, stony path that joins the water treatment plant track. After 350m, there is a viewpoint on the right offering a fine view of the Dourdou canyon. Follow this wide track along a cliff for 1km, crossing the bridge near the water treatment plant.
(3) Immediately turn right onto the grassy path up the Dourdou.
(4) After 350m take the footbridge in the trees, continue on the left bank for 1km and there is another footbridge.
(5) Continue on the right bank.
(6) After 250m leave the next footbridge, then after 400m take the old footbridge and follow the path up towards Bozouls on the left bank, under the cliff. You reach the bridge opposite the waterfall. Go back up the narrow road to reach the Rue des Angles and the Place des Tours (E).
