Park near the Saint Pierre War Memorial (S/E). Follow theGR®65to the right (white and red markings). Turn left then right (gate) onto a steep, very rough path. Walk through woods and juniper trees to reach the plateau (beautiful views of the Bessuéjouls Valley). You will come out onto the small road leading to Bibal. Continue left for 900 metres to Briffoul.
(1) Pass the farmhouse and continue for 150m. Leave theGR®65, which turns right onto a dirt track. Continue straight ahead on the road for 350m. Before the farmhouse, turn 90° between two pastures onto a farm track. At a hairpin bend, take a grassy path opposite. At the first crossroads, ignore the path on the right (pay close attention) and after a few metres, turn right onto a narrow path lined with hedges and low walls to descend to La Conque. Continue along the small road (on the left, you will see the Réquistat workshop, which makes marquetry knives and fashion accessories). Turn right towards Les Camps. You will rejoin theGR®65.
(2) Follow it straight ahead towards the Church of Trédou (a restored 15th-century Gothic church). Climb up to the Manoir de Beauregard. Continue until you reach another crossroads.
(3) Turn left onto a sunken path in poor condition for 500 metres, leaving theGR®65again.
Continue straight ahead on a dirt track to Remiral (a beautiful renovated residence). Turn right onto a grassy path climbing up the hillside to the small road (beautiful views of the Lot Valley). Turn right and climb up to Briffoul.
(1) Join theGR®65again and follow it to the left to return to Saint-Pierre-de-Bessuéjouls via the same route you took on the way there. Return to the car park (S/E).
