Cars can be parked on the outskirts of the hamlet of Gally.
(S/E) Take the path towards the few local farms.
(1) At the cross, continue along the path which climbs to the left for 500 m to the next crossroads.
(2) Head towards the water tower on the right, which is 600 m further up and has a water trough.
(3) Go round the water tower on the left. Walk down alongside the fence for 70 m and go through the gate on the right: tourist sign. About thirty metres further down, let the path branch off to the right and turn left, going through the fence. Follow the fence for 900 m to the Berre reservoir, fed by water from the Aigoual, which stands out opposite with its two antennas.
(4) Walk back about 100 metres and continue to the right until you reach the junction.
(5) Follow the path to the right along the edge of the woodland for about 1,500 m: look out for the Souc farm on the right.
(6) At this point, the path turns 90° to the left and continues for about 800 m. At the junction with a forest track marked by an abandoned beehive, continue straight ahead. Then turn left to reach a picnic area.
(7) Then rejoin the path and arrive at the hamlet of Fretma.
(8) When you reach the houses, follow the path leading off to the right until you reach a junction.
(9) You can take a detour to the right to see the beautifully restored Bégude Blanche farm. Otherwise , continue straight on for about 100 metres and take the GR® to the left: red and white markings. Continue along the GR® for 2 km until you reach the junction with the GRP®: yellow and red markings.
(10) Continue to the left, following the dual markings, to reach the access road to Gally.
(11) Turn left to return to the car park (S/E).
