This hike starts at the small car park by the church and town hall in Esquay-sur-Seulles.
(S/E) From the car park, join the D126 and turn right onto the footpath that runs alongside it, descending towards the River Seulles. Shortly after the traffic lights, take a small path that passes between the houses. Follow it to its end near the D35.
(1) Turn right onto the small local road leading into the village of Vaux-sur-Seulles. Follow it to the D127.
(2) Turn right onto it, heading north-west. Pass in front of the Château de Vaussieux, cross the bridge over the Seulles, then arrive at a path starting at the bend in the road.
(3) Follow this path to the left for about 1 km. At the end, follow the local road to the right until you reach a rainwater basin.
(4) Turn right and join the D153, known as "la Route des Sables" (the Sand Road) due to the presence of sand quarries. Follow this road to the right for about 150 m, taking care to avoid cars and lorries. Stay on the wide verge.
(5) Between the two sand quarry entrances, turn right onto the dirt track heading due east until you reach the D127.
(6) Continue left on this district road until you reach the junction with the D126.
(7) Turn right and follow this road to reach the car park after 300 metres (S/E).
