Park in the car park at the end of Rue des Étangs; the car park is on the right at the top of the hill after the church.
(S/E) Turn right onto the footpath; you’ll very quickly reach the path marked with a Yellow Ring. Turn left onto it, passing a few memorial stones dedicated to members of the Resistance. Continue on, making a wide circular loop to the right to reach the Col de Querty.
(1) Leave the marked trail and take the forest road on the left. Ignore the path branching off to the right and, at the next junction, stay on the left-hand branch. Begin a long descent, crossing the hill known as ‘la Suisse’. You’ll emerge at the junction with the path marked with a Green Rectangle.
(2) Turn left onto this path. Continue the descent until you reach the junction before the Auxelles-Haut cemetery.
(3) Turn left onto Rue des Bruyères and, after a hairpin bend, join Rue de Étangs.
(4) Turn left onto this street to easily return to the car park at the end of the street (S/E).
