(S) With the hotel in front of you, turn left, walk 50 m, and turn right onto Rue du Herrenhaus, then take the road uphill that leads to the Hohwald campsite.
(1) Go around the back of the campsite and follow the red rectangle signs (GR®5) or the Hohwald waterfall signs (blue disc). Keep the campsite fence on your left.
(2) When you reach the waterfall, go down to the viewpoint. There is a table and benches here. To return, go back up the way you came down. Take the path opposite, marked "Chaumes des Vaux" and signposted with a red cross, until you reach the pond.
(3) Turn left and cross the road to take the path marked with a Red Cross sign in the forest.
(4) When you reach an intersection, turn left and follow the blue crosses towards Hohwald.
(5) At the edge of the forest, you will come to a paved road (be careful of traffic). Turn right. You will see your starting point below.
(6) Shortly before reaching the main road, you can stop for refreshments at the Auberge du Moulin before returning to your cars.
Return to the car park opposite the Grand Hôtel255 (S/E).
