Description of the walk

Park in the car park in the village of Aboën opposite the church.

(S/E) Take the Route de Périgueux opposite and you’ll soon reach a crossroads at a bend.

(1) Turn left downhill to reach the edge of a wood.

(2) Enter the woods, reach the Ruisseau du Bonson and cross it via the footbridge. Then begin a short climb to reach the village of Savignecq and a crossroads marked by a cross.

(3) Turn left twice and continue uphill to reach the hamlet of Montcel.

(4) Head downhill along the path on the left. Enter the woods again and climb slightly before reaching the hamlet of Soulacroux.
