Parking in front of the church and cemetery in Lusignan Grand, dead-end road.
(S/E) From the church, turn back and take the Route de Monnée on the left at the war memorial, which descends alongside the cemetery.
(1) At the three-way junction, about thirty metres after the old shoeing post (photo), turn right onto the small path that descends steeply into the woods (small public path sign).
At the bottom of the descent, a knotted rope helps you cross the ditch at a place called "Rouère" to reach the road, which you take to the left.
(2) At the intersection with a road, head straight ahead onto a grassy path, then quickly turn right and follow the path that climbs into the woods, keeping to the right.
When you reach a wooden hut on the right, take the stony path that descends to a road.
(3) At the road, walk about 20 metres to the left, then take the long gravel climb until you come to a small tarmac road at a place called Rouquette. On the climb, ignore a path leading to the right. Continue straight ahead on the road.
(4) When you reach a pond on your left, turn right onto a path marked with a yellow sign and a sign for mountain bike trail No. 5. Further into the woods, ignore the path with the red cross on your right and continue along the hedge on your left.
(5) At the crossroads, leave a yellow marker on your right (isolated tree on the right) and take the path opposite with a yellow and red cross, follow the hedge and then cross through a wood.
(6) At the edge of the woods, leave the gravel path (private) on your right leading to the Mourut farm, and take the grassy path opposite to the road (metal shed), which you take to the right.
Cross the hamlet of Mourut, the tractor repair shop and the farm, and continue along the road to its end.
At the end of the road, take the grassy path that runs alongside an electric fence and follow this path to the hamlet of Le Ga, which you cross to reach an intersection with a road. Turn right and continue for 450 m.
(7) Turn left onto the small grassy hairpin path and continue to a stream.
(8) At the end of the path, which is crossed by a ditch with a water crossing, take the small bridge on the left.
After crossing the bridge, turn right, then left onto the grassy path, which then becomes a stony path, and follow it until you reach a road.
(9) Take the Cantegril road on the left.
After passing two houses on the right at a place called Cantegril, turn onto the small path that descends steeply into a wood (white railing at the edge of the road). Follow this path to a place called Roullan.
(10) Pass between a house and a shed, then leave the tarmac road on your left and continue along the path to the right, which continues along a road at a place called La Rouère.
This road leads to an uphill road that takes you to the village of Lusignan Grand and the starting point (S/E).
