Park at the side of the small road leading down from the D940.
(S/E) About thirty metres from the bridge over the Authie, you will find the starting point: the wide path that heads north-west along the Authie. Follow it, ignoring all the paths coming in from the right.
GR®120 marked in white and red
(1) On arrival at La Madelon de l’Authie, a small, quiet marina, take the small road on the right. It is very quiet. Follow it for 400 m until you reach a T-junction
(2) Ignore the road branching off to the left and take the wide path to the right. GR® markings appear from time to time, but are not always easy to spot. Never mind, the path is clear and easy to follow.
(3) At the Y-junction, continue to the right and follow it for 350 m until you reach a T-junction
(4) Leave the path on the left and follow the wide path on the right.
(5) Continue to the right and go round a pond, one of the many hunting ponds in the area.
(6) Ignore the small path branching off to the left and continue along the GR® which, after a section shaded by the canopy, leads onto the D940.
(7) Turn right onto it for a few dozen metres, keeping to the right-hand side. Shortly afterwards, take a small road branching off to the right towards the bridge and head back to the car park (S/E).
