Departure from Place Henriette Bresson.
(S/E) Walk up Rue Tewpath Lassausaie. Turn left onto Rue du Grand Fossé. When you reach the Town Hall, cross the D16 and follow it to the right. Turn left onto Rue de Génévréant, then right onto Rue des Darbonnières.
(1) After 250 metres, turn left onto the path. At the T-junction, turn right onto Chemin de la Forêt. Follow the path south, ignoring the paths on the right and left.
(2) Ignore the path on the left that goes up and the one on the right that goes down. Stay on the path in the centre. When you reach a hairpin bend, turn left and go up.
(3) Take the path on the left for 30 metres and follow the trail that branches off to the left to visit the Madonna. Retrace your steps.
(3) Continue straight ahead and climb. Follow the winding path, ignoring the paths on the right and left.
(4) Take the path on the right. After a fairly steep climb, at the intersection with the geological trail, turn left towards Poleymieux-au-Mont-d'Or. Arrive at Mont Rouge.
(5) Turn onto the path on the right, which is to the left of the stop sign. You will arrive at a rest area and a cross. Follow the tarmac road on the right. At the fork in the road, stay on the right-hand side of Route de la Glande.
(6) Leave the road and take the path on the left, then stay on the path on the right.
(7) When you reach a hairpin bend, turn right towards the Gîte de la Glande.
Pass in front of the lodge and go down the path to the road. Turn left, then left again and stay to the side as there is frequent traffic. Note the lime kiln on the left.
(8) Take the mountain bike trail on the right that descends under the trees. At an intersection, continue to the right towards a ruined farm. Stay on the trail and ignore the trail that branches off to the left. You will arrive at the ruined farm on your left.
(9) Turn left onto the geological trail. Follow this trail towards Chasselay, ignoring the trails on the right and left. You will come to an orientation table.
(10) Continue downhill until you reach the road and see the Château du Plantin on your right. Go down the Montée du Plantin. Cross the departmental road and pass under the Rue de la Chambre du Roi archway. Walk past the church to reach Rue Léa Lassausaie and the Place Henriette Bresson car park (S/E).
