Parking is available at the Cuchet car park on Route de la Cry Cuchet in the hills above Combloux.
(S/E) Keep Chalet d'Émilie on your right to start the hike towards the Combloux ski facilities. Pass the end of the Garettes chairlift, then under the Beauregard chairlift and arrive at an intersection near the Pertuis chairlift.
(1) Continue on your right, following the path along the pine trees, turning north and arriving at a house at a fork.
(2) Continue climbing on your left on a variant of the GRP®Tour du Pays du Mont Blanc. The route is mostly in the woods on a track suitable for vehicles, and the slope is steady. Through a few gaps, you will see the Grand Croisse Baulet on your right. (
) You will arrive at the junction with the Piste du Pertuis (signpost).
(3) Leave the Piste du Pertuis on your left, continue straight ahead and after about 200 m you will come to another junction.
(4) Leave the GRP® trail on your right (see Practical Information) and continue straight ahead towards the Sommets des Salles. Pass near the Chalet des Bachais and its restaurant to reach the summit at the Pertuis chairlift.
(5) Enjoy the view of the Aravis mountain range and Mont Blanc. Turn left and descend a few hundred metres towards the Ravine chairlift, which also offers a beautiful view.
(6) Continue the descent, keeping to the right to join the GRP® variant. On your left, you will see the Croix de Salles and its picnic area, then join the Jaillet gondola lift.
(7) You will encounter more people here. Turn left, descend to Lac du Jaillet and discover the panoramic area where you can name the main peaks of the Mont Blanc range.
(8) Continue downhill on the track and pass the Petite Ravine restaurant. The track joins the Chemin de la Berthaz coming from the right. Keep left and reach the Beauregard crossroads (signpost).
(9) Go down to the right and continue along the track through the forest until you come out in sight of the Cuchet car park (S/E).
