Park in the car park for the Lauze and Plan du Moulin chairlifts in Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves.
(S/E) Take the path on the left, quickly passing the hamlet of Les Vachers. Continue slightly uphill alongside a stream to reach the Croix de la Troche crossroads.
(1) Turn right onto the wide path to begin a gentle descent. You’ll reach the point just below the Plan du Moulin chairlift line.
(2) Carry on, passing under the Lauze chairlift line and then under the Choseaux chairlift line. You’ll reach the Choseaux bridge.
(3) Cross the bridge and turn right onto the Route du Col de la Croix de Fer. Follow this road until you reach the junction with the Chemin du Pré.
(4) Turn right onto this path, then continue along the footpath that follows it. Cross the Ruisseau de la Combe des Mortes. Follow its left bank to reach the chairlift car park (S/E).
