Departure from Saint-Symphorien-d'Ozon Town Hall (Place Charles de Gaulle). Parking nearby or at Place de la Poste 100 m away.
(S/E) Head east along Rue de la Poste, lined with houses on the right, and you will soon reach the junction with Rue du Champ de Mars. Turn left for 40 metres, then right onto Montée du Carton, which leads to the old Nationale 7.
(1) Cross it carefully (heavy traffic at certain times) and take the sunken path that quickly leads to the middle of the fields. 200 m after a 90° left turn, cross a path.
(2) Follow it to the right for 300 metres, then leave it to climb to the left.
(3) After 400 m, take the path on the right, which narrows and enters a small wood before descending to a hamlet.
(4) Take the asphalt road opposite, which soon turns into a path (Chemin Rural du Piset) (market gardens on the right). Continue towards the D148.
(5) Shortly before crossing the D148, take the path on the left that runs flat along a hedge. Follow this path, turn right (greenhouses on the right), then turn left and continue straight on to the D148.
(6) Turn left and continue for 450 metres, staying on the hard shoulder until you reach the first crossroads.
(7) Leave the asphalt road and follow a path on the left for 500 m. The path continues along the road, climbing towards the Golf du Verger, which you cross to rejoin the access road, leaving it at the first intersection on the left.
(8) A path and then a quiet tarmac road lead downhill towards Saint-Symphorien-d'Ozon. Pass under the RD307 and after 250 m you will reach Rue Centrale.
(9) Follow this street, which will take you back to the starting point at the Town Hall (S/E).
