Summit of Mont Châteleu

Description of the walk

Park in the car park at the Ferme du Vieux Châteleu.

(S/E) With your back to the road, turn right and follow the yellow marker posts or yellow snowshoe signs for approximately 1,500 metres.

(1) Turn left, continuing to follow the markings. Head generally south-west, then south, to reach a crossroads near a ruin.

(2) Turn right and head up towards Mont Châteleu, following the path on the right about a hundred metres further on. You will reach the first viewpoint.

(3) Continue climbing to the left for 200 m until you reach the second viewpoint at the summit of Mont Châteleu. Descend carefully.

(2) Walk straight down to the car park (S/E).
