In Agay, take Avenue du Gratadis, then Rue du Gratadis. Pass the Maison Forestière du Gratadis, cross the Grenouillet ford and follow the road towards Pic de l'Ours. Pass the Sainte-Baume car park and park in the Col de l'Évêque car park.
(S/E) Go down the path behind the barrier. Turn right into Ravin des Lentisques. Turn left onto the road.
(1) After the bend, climb the path on the right markedGR®653A.
(2) At Baisse des Sangliers, turn right onto the road, then immediately onto the path on the right.
(3) Ignore the path on the left, which you will follow on the way back, and continue to Pic d'Aurelle.
(4) At the summit, enjoy a superb view overlooking the Mediterranean, the Gulf of La Napoule with Cannes and the Alpes Maritimes in the background. On a clear day, you can even see Corsica, 180 km away!
Descend via the same path.
(3) Continue straight ahead towards Pic de l'Ours, which is marked by a large pylon.
(5) At Col des Lentisques, cross the crossroads and climb the path on the right towards Pic de l'Ours. Turn right onto the road, then immediately onto the path that climbs to the left and rejoins the road further up. Turn left onto the road, then immediately onto the path on the right. Continue to Pic de l'Ours.
(6) At the summit, turn right to the viewpoint overlooking the Gulf of La Napoule and the Alpes Maritimes. Return and continue on the path that goes around Pic de l'Ours.
(7) Turn left and descend the path, which has several tight hairpin bends.
(8) At the Dent de l'Ours, turn left.
(9) At the fork, keep left. At the next fork, go straight ahead on the path that goes around the Sommet de l'Uzel. Pass close to the Grotte d'Uzel (no sign) and reach the Col des Lentisques.
(5) Go down the road on the right and then, shortly afterwards, take the path on the right.
(3) Turn onto the path that climbs to the right.
(2) At Baisse des Sangliers, turn left onto the road and, after about 200 m, at the hairpin bend, descend the path on the right.
(10) Turn left at a 160° angle onto a barely visible path. Cross a stream and turn right.
(11) Turn right onto the path that runs alongside the Ravin des Lentisques. Turn left onto a path (not shown on the map) that descends to the bottom of the ravine. Cross the stream and climb the path to the right.
(12) Turn left at the hairpin bend. Turn right onto the road.
(13) At Sainte-Baume (option to make a round trip to the Grotte Saint-Honorat), climb the stairs, pass in front of the fountain and climb the path.
(14) Turn left towards Pic du Cap Roux. At Col du Cap Roux, turn left.
(15) Turn left towards the summit. Viewpoint over Le Dramont and the Gulf of Fréjus to the west and the Gulf of La Napoule to the north-east. Orientation table. Descend via the same path and turn left onto the plateau. Begin crossing a scree slope and turn left.
(16) Turn right, cross the scree slope and reach a three-way junction.
(17) Turn left to reach the Col de l'Évêque car park (S/E).
