Three Crosses Loop in Villars-Colmars

Park in the Pénitents car park, in front of the Church of the Transfiguration in Villars-Colmars.

(S/E) Go down Rue André Barbaroux on the right and walk back up through the village until the road becomes Chemin de Font-Fine in the Tête district.

(1) Turn left, follow the signs for Croix du Puy (Tour du Haut-Verdon) and continue until you reach the signpost for Ravin de Roufleiran.

(2) Turn right and continue to follow "Croix du Puy". Begin a relatively challenging climb through the forest until you reach the edge.

(3) Continue along the only path to reach the summit and the signpost "Croix du Puy".

(4) Now follow the signs for Villars-Colmars, la Tête. Descend into the Bois du Puy, pass another cross and arrive at the signpost "Bois du Puy".

(5) Keep right, quickly reach a road, turn right and follow it to a Y-junction.

(6) Leave the road on the left, continuing to follow "la Tête". When the path splits, turn right, then right again at the next fork. You will then reach the Route du Puy crossroads.

(7) Take this road on the left to return to the Pénitents car park (S/E).

You can fill up with water at a fountain as you leave the car park on your right.

(4) Croix du Puy: the cross is located slightly below, along a path on the left, and offers a 180° view of the valley with Colmars-les-Alpes on the left.
