To get to the start: A75, exit 2. Take the D2089 towards Bordeaux, after 10km enter Ceyrat, head towards the town hall (on the left) then continue straight on and cross the village.
Park after a bridge over a stream in the car park on the right at the edge of the forest.
Markings: Yellow: Redon.
(S/E) From the car park, enter the forest and follow the path along the Ruisseau de Saint-Genès. At the quarry, turn left and take the path that climbs steeply.
Follow the natural path that winds upwards and ignore the side paths.
(1) At the fork, take the first path on the right and continue straight on to Redon Haut.
(2) At the exit of Redon Haut, at the crossroads, continue straight ahead along the natural path until you see a group of houses.
(3) At Quatre Chemins, turn left and continue towards Redon-Bas.
At the intersection with Redon Bas in sight, at an altitude of 786m, continue straight ahead until you reach a tarmac road and a three-way junction.
(4) At the three-way junction, take the left path towards a shed. Turn right after the shed and at an altitude of 767m, go down the path to an iron cross.
(5) At the iron cross, turn left, pass behind the houses and continue to a T-junction at the entrance to Saulzet-le Chaud.
(6) Turn left and continue to a housing estate. At altitude 613m, continue to the left.
Go around the housing estate on the right and continue to the road.
(7) Turn left and continue to the starting car park (S/E).
