(S/E) Head north on Rue de la Gare, passing under the four-lane road (Boulevard du Général de Gaulle). Cross Rue Éric Tabarly to reach the confluence of the Sèvre Nantaise and the Loire.
(1) Turn left to follow the left bank of the Loire towards the Pont de Pornic bridge, which you will pass under. Follow and cross the Haute-Île: at one point, you will no longer be able to follow the riverbank, but you will rejoin it a little further on. Cross Boulevard Victor Schoelcher, passing under the Pont des Trois Continents bridge, and take Rue de la Basse-Île to the junction with Rue Alexandre Lemerle.
(2) Turn right towards the Loire, then turn left to follow it. At the Trentemoult marina, turn right onto Quai Marcel Boissard and follow the quay to Place des Filets. Continue along the riverbank and pass in front of the "Pendule", a work of contemporary art.
(3) Continue left onto Rue Raphaël Lancelot, then turn right onto a path that joins Rue de la Californie, which you take to the right until you reach the large roundabout.
(4) Go around the roundabout on the right and you will come to another smaller roundabout. Turn right behind Sobreda and take Chemin de la Vaserie. Continue to the end, following the four-lane road. At the next roundabout, cross Rue de la Pierre using the pedestrian crossing, which is extended by a flight of six steps. Continue along the side of a car dealership without entering it and walk about 50 metres.
(5) Turn left onto a path with wooden decking which leads to Rue des Ponteaux after passing alongside the quarry. Follow this street to the right until you reach the roundabout.
(6) Turn left onto a stony path leading down to a small pond. After the first houses, pass under Rue Christophe Colomb and note the old Moulin du Petit Rocher mill on your right. Continue to Rue de la Neustrie.
(7) Turn right, then left onto Rue du 19 Mars 1962. Follow the tram tracks to the third roundabout and continue for about 50 metres.
(8) Turn right to follow the path parallel to the tram line. Continue straight ahead until you reach the Jaguère valley.
(9) Turn left to follow the Ruisseau de la Jaguère, choosing to stay as close as possible or opting for a path further east (choice of route).
(10) Cross Rue de la Croix Médard and continue along the Jaguère. The path bends to the right and leads to Avenue du Maréchal De Lattre de Tassigny.
(11) Cross and continue opposite, walking alongside a car park. Then turn left, passing to the left of a lake, the Chapelle Saint-Lupien chapel and the "Le Chronographe" archaeological museum. Walk alongside the four-lane road to the roundabout on Rue André Malraux.
(12) Cross and continue along the path alongside Boulevard Général de Gaulle. Take the right-hand bend, walk alongside the railway line and cross the bridge on Rue Julien Marchais. At the end of the bridge, turn left onto Rue Georges Barbeau and continue to Pont-Rousseau station (S/E).
