Departure from the leisure centre car park, Allée des Diligences.
(S/E) Head towards the rubbish bins opposite the tennis courts and turn left up Route des S'nailles, lined with old farms. Cross the main road, continue straight on Route des S'nailles and at the next intersection, continue straight on Route de la Bovresse. Continue along a path until you reach the road.
(1) At the top of Bovresse, turn right towards Charousse. Follow the road and continue along a path.
(2) At the magnificent Charousse mountain pasture, enjoy the view of the Mont Blanc range. Admire the 18th-century mountain chalets. You will come to an intersection.
(3) At the intersection, turn right towards Vaudagne. After a descent through spruce trees and raspberry bushes, take the small bridge towards Les Bouchards. Join a forest track and follow it downhill.
(4) Inside the hamlet of Les Bouchards, descend the path that leads to the chapel of Vaudagne. Continue downhill towards the old school of Vaudagne and reach the place called Le Moulin. Take a short stretch of road towards the Vaudagne rest stop. Leave the path that descends to the left and stay on the road (D413)
(5) At the hairpin bend, take the track on the right towards the Vaudagne rest stop and pass the barrier and the private property sign with authorisation for pedestrians and bicycles only. Continue along the path, then walk past a house on your right, take the path on the left and you will reach a fork.
(6) Follow Chemin des Diligences to the right, go down a small slope and then climb up to the Oratoire des Voyageurs. Continue along the flat section that passes by a farm building before reaching the leisure centre car park (S/E).
Pleasant discoveries: old mountain chalets, a small village with typical Savoyard features, a forest trail, views of the Mont Blanc massif. An easy hike with varied terrain.
