Description of the walk

Start at the car park on Rue du Stade in Morvillars.

The route is marked with a red disc

(S/E) Head east towards the D23 (Rue Charles de Gaulle), which is the main street in Morvillars.

(1) Follow it to the right and cross it carefully to continue opposite on Rue du Marché, pass in front of the town hall and continue on Rue du Paquis. Cross the canal on the footbridge, admire the water intake and the beautiful waterfall, and continue left on Rue Sous la Côte along the Allaine river.

(2) At the crossroads, turn right and then right again further on. The path climbs through a beautiful forest.

(3) Turn right onto the forest path. At the next crossroads, turn left onto the main path. Follow the signposts carefully. Continue to the water tower. Go past it. The route joins the GR®E5 and the Way of St James.
