The starting point is in the small village of Jas. Park at Place des Fêtes.
(S/E) Head north-east along Rue du Bourg until you reach thefirst road on the right, Route d'Essertine.
(1) Follow this road, then turn right onto Chemin de Croix Rampeaux, which then descends through fields. When you reach a small, quiet road, continue straight ahead for several metres until you pass the hamlet of Les Bruyères. At the next intersection, take the path on the right until you reach a small stream that is easy to cross.
(2) Continue straight ahead along the edge of the forest until you reach the end of the path. At the intersection, turn right and continue straight ahead into the forest. You will come to a small tarmac road (Chemin de Fatisson).
(3) Continue to Fatisson and turn left immediately after the house. The path leads to a river. Cross it via the bridge.
(4) Follow the sign with a church on it. At the intersection, turn right towards Salt-en-Donzy, then right again. Cross the forest on theGR®89.
(5) Walk along a river on Chemin du Moulin for about 400 metres until you reach a fork (with the return path).
(6) Continue on theGR®89, then turn left to admire the church of Salt-en-Donzy.
(7) Retrace your steps along the Chemin du Moulin. Do not take thefirst path on the left that leads to the road, but return to the fork you passed earlier.
(6) Take the path on the left (follow the sign with a train). Cross the bridge over the river to reach the hamlet of Les Sapins on Route de Croix Charmette.
(8) Continue along this road and, at the intersection, keep left, then turn right onto Rue du Bourg to reach the village of Jas (S/E).
