Circular route in the Oison Valley starting from Saint-Pierre-des-Fleurs

Parking and departure from the town hall car park, Rue de Thuit-Anger, see also practical information.

(S/E) Leave the car park by turning left until you reach the traffic lights. Cross the roads and continue straight ahead, taking the no-entry lane, Rue de la Fermanière. Continue along this road until you reach the intersection opposite the church of Bec-Thomas.

(1) Cross Route de la Vallée de l'Oison and continue along the path opposite, with the church on your right. Take Rue de l'Église on the right. At the Y-junction, keep right until the first right turn.

(2) Turn right onto Route de Fouqueville, pass the oak tree on your right (the only tree on this road), and turn onto the first path on the right. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead. Turn right onto the road until you reach the intersection. Continue straight ahead, taking care when crossing the road, Grande Rue, village of Saint-Ouen-de-Pontcheuil. Turn right onto the second street on the right, Rue des Lodieu, until you reach the crossroads.

(3) Take Rue du Château on the right (D591), ignore a turn-off on the right, and pass in front of the large barrier. Follow the road to the next fork and continue straight ahead, Route du Moulin in Saint-Amand-des-Hautes-Terres. Ignore a left turn with a barrier and, in the right-hand bend, take the path uphill to the left until you reach the tarmac.

(4) Continue straight ahead on Rue Boutricart and turn right at the first street, Chemin de l'Enfer. Cross the road and continue straight ahead on Rue Boissemont, ignoring a left turn, and continue straight ahead until you reach the T-junction with a view of the church. Turn left onto Route de Tourville (D86) and continue to the town hall.

(5) Turn onto the small road on the right, just after the town hall, Sente de l'École, and continue straight ahead on Route de Tourville. Then turn right onto Rue de la Grande Mare, continue straight ahead in the no-entry lane, Chemin des Hayes, until you reach the road at the bottom of the lane. Turn right onto Rue de l'Oison until you reach the fork and follow the left-hand branch to the next crossroads.

(6) Cross the D26 and continue straight ahead on Rue du Bosc-Féré, ignoring the dead end and turning right. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead on Rue Guy de Maupassant until you reach the hamlet of La Moutonnière. Continue for about 90 metres until you reach the electricity substation on your right with signs for three routes. Turn right onto Rue Gustave Flaubert, join the D26 road at the Saint-Pierre-des-Fleurs sign, cross it and continue straight ahead along Chemins des Forrières for a few metres.

(7) Leave Chemin des Forrières, which branches off to the left, and continue along the path opposite, to the south, at the edge of the woods. After the woods, cross the field to reach the woods on the other side. Continue along the path opposite until you reach the intersection with a stop sign (D840).

(8) Cross it carefully, continue straight ahead after the white bollards, Impasse de la Vieille Côte. Go up the slope to the car wash. Continue straight ahead, along the fence on your right, the car wash on your left, and rejoin the main road D840 a few metres further on.

(9) Follow it to the right for about 90 metres. Take a street on the right, passing the fixed barriers, Chemin de la Fontaine des Poiriers. At the crossroads, turn left onto Rue de la Fermanière and go up to the stop sign. Cross the D840 and D26 roads and continue to the town hall car park (S/E).

If there are not enough parking spaces in the town hall car park, go to Route du Neubourg and park in the Croix-Mouche shopping centre car park, in the direction of Neubourg before the village exit.
