In Cabrières-d'Avigno, walk past the town hall, continue along Cours Jean Giono then take Chemin des Estelles, crossing La Senancole. At the next junction, take Chemin des Boujolles, keep to the right on this path until you reach a right-angled bend. Park here.
Please note: there is little space to park; you may park further back if there is no space.
(S/E) Take the track opposite and continue to a Y-junction.
(1) Leave the road and take the path on the right, continue uphill and, at the top, reach the hamlet of Les Boujolles.
(2) Pass between the houses and head down the path; after a bend, you’ll reach a Y-junction.
(3) Turn right, continue downhill and reach another junction at the Sénancole.
(4) Cross the stream and start climbing up the left bank. Then cross over to the right bank to reach a tricky section.
(5) Cross it, either by climbing over it or going round the side. Continue along the right bank until you reach a junction with the path coming from Sénanque Abbey.
(6) Take the path to the left and head up to La Débroussède.
(7) Head downhill and follow this path until you reach the junction you passed on the way out.
(3) Turn left and follow the route you took on the way there to return to La Sénancole.
(4) Turn right onto the path, follow the right bank of the stream and reach a crossroads.
(8) Leave La Sénancole and follow the path uphill to the junction of several paths where there is a house.
(9) Walk along the wall of the house and continue along the path to return to the car park (S/E).
