Description of the walk

You can park along the road before the barrier at Camping l’Oasis, taking care not to obstruct traffic.

(S/E) Head towards Le Petit Chaléat. Pass the cross and continue left to join the Route de Fourany. Turn left to reach the entrance to the hamlet: views of the Alps.

(1) Leave the road and take the path on the left which descends towards l'Ay. Cross the bridge and continue towards Minodier.

(2) At the hamlet, continue along the small road towards Ardoix, pass the first houses of the village and join the Route du Barois.

(3) Turn right, keep left at the cemetery and head for the village square: church and post office.

(4) Follow Rue du Bicentenaire straight ahead to reach the town hall.

(5) Turn left, cross the small square (half grass, half earth) to reach Place du Tennis. Continue straight ahead, then quickly keep to the right to follow Chemin d’Éclassan.

(6) Once at the end of the tarmac road, take the path on the right, head back down to L’Ay, cross the bridge and reach the car park near the campsite (S/E).
