Park near the church of Saint-Martin-d’Heuille.
(S/E) Take the Route de Nevers on the left, then turn right into Rue de la Chaume. You’ll reach the edge of the forest at a crossroads marked by a cross.
(1) Turn left into the woods, passing the White Cross de la Chaume. Continue through the woods until you reach Champ du Ballet, a crossroads with several routes.
(2) Stay on the left-hand branch, then, at the next crossroads, turn left at a 90° angle to reach the hamlet of Sauvage.
(3) Turn left and head towards the Ruisseau de l’Heuille. Follow its left bank to reach the bridge at the hamlet of Bas d’Heuille.
(4) Cross the bridge on the left to cross the stream. You’ll reach the D148; take it to the left and head for the Gros Chêne plant room, recognisable by its solar panels on the roof.
(5) Take the path on the right, re-enter the forest and then continue along its edge. Shortly after leaving the forest, turn sharply left to reach the Crot Mornay wash house.
(6) Turn left and walk at a leisurely pace to reach the car park near the church of Saint-Martin d’Heuille (S/E).
