Description of the walk

Start: Succoth car park, West of Arrochar (G83 7AP) Grid ref. NN 293 048

(S/E) From the car park, cross the A83 road to take the opposite path. Just after the gate turn right the take the path going across the forest along the stream. Be careful this path is unfortunately not very visible and will require a bit of navigation skills. It can also be quite muddy. Continue straight ignoring paths coming from left and right until you reach a forest road.

(1) After 280 m or so, cross the forest road and take straight (North-West) through the forest still following the traces of a stream. Little by little the path will become more and more visible. Once past the forest the path will begin to wave on the side of the mountain.

(2) Continue on this path (North-West) to the top of Beinn Narnain summit. Be careful there is a bit of scrambling to reach the summit.

(3) Once on Beinn Narnain summit take the path that goes down to the middle of the valley ( still heading North West) in the direction of Bealach a' Mhaim.

(4) Arriving at an intersection of paths, take left towards Lochan a Chlaidheimh (South).

(5) After 340 m or so, leave the large path of Coire a' Bhahachain to go straight up to the summit of the Cobbler (also known as Ben Arthur). The Cobbler has three summits. Continue (South) until reaching all the three summits.

(6) After enjoying the summits, retrace your steps to take right after around 500m to go down by the biggest path (East).

(7) Once again on Coire a' Bhahachain, take right (South-East) to go down. Continue on this large path until reaching the car park. On the way, ignore paths coming from left and right. (S/E)
