Park in the car park at Maredsous Abbey.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn right onto Rue de Maredsous, heading south, until you reach a fork.
(1) Turn right, heading north-west, towards Maredet Abbey.
(2) At the abbey, turn right, heading north, and follow the road. Then continue along the small dirt track that runs alongside the abbey until you reach a road.
(3) Walk past the Notre-Dame de Grâce chapel and turn left, heading south, onto Rue Bonne Fontaine. Then, at the junction, continue straight on, along Rue Haie de Sart, until you reach another junction about 80 m further on.
(4) Turn right, heading north, to enter a wood and continue to the exit.
(5) Turn right, heading north-east, onto Rue de la Cour. After 50 m, walk past the Chapelle Saint-Gérard and take the small path on the left which leads onto Rue de la Cour.
(6) At the junction, follow this street to the right, heading north-east. Continue along Rue Rolland and turn left onto a dirt track which leads to Rue des Artisans; follow this to the left until you reach Rue des Montis.
(7) Turn right onto this street and walk past the cemetery.
(8) Walk alongside the fields and the farm (Campagne de Bonsin) and continue for 300 m until you reach a fork.
(9) Turn right, heading north, onto the dirt track leading to a small hamlet.
(10) Turn right to continue along the fields. At the fork, turn left before reaching a wood.
(11) On leaving the woods, cross a road and walk past Maredsous Castle. Continue along this small road which leads to the car park (S/E).
