Free parking in the forest, on the edge of the D426, at the exit of Klingenthal, towards Mont Sainte-Odile.
(S/E) From the car park, turn right onto the path that runs parallel to Avenue Rathsamhausen. After 300 m, at the intersection, take the path marked Anneau Rouge on the right and you will arrive at a crossroads.
Anneau Rouge signposts throughout the circuit
(1) Turn left and continue along the path for 800 m until you reach a three-way intersection.
Turn right uphill. After 200 m, the path turns left to another three-way intersection. Continue straight ahead, following the red ring markings, for about 1 km to a four-way intersection.
(2) Turn left onto the path marked with a red ring and yellow cross, which descends steeply. Continue for 500 m until you reach a three-way intersection.
(3) Turn right downhill to reach Ottrott after about 300 m. Turn right and, 200 m further on, left into Rue de la Source. After 200 m, you will reach the D303.
(4) Turn right and then immediately left onto Rue des Champs, signposted with a red and yellow ring. Ignore the paths on the left and right and continue straight ahead to join the D35 after about 900 m. Turn right and continue for 50 m, then cross the departmental road with caution.
(5) Take the road, continuing to follow the same signs. You will come to a crossroads.
(6) Turn left and after 150 m you will arrive on the Ottrott road (D426). Cross it carefully and after 500 m you will arrive at a crossroads.
(7) Turn left onto Sentier de l'Ehn, marked with a red ring and a red, white and red rectangle, and follow it for 900 m until you reach a bend, which you take to the right to come out, 50 m further on, onto Chemin des Aulnes. Turn left and come out onto the D35, which you follow to the left for a good hundred metres.
(8) Leave this road by turning left and, after 100 m, turn right onto Rue du Schliffweg, following the signs. About 200 m further on, you will come to the roundabout on the D426.
(9) Turn right onto the uphill path marked with a red ring and blue cross, which you will follow for 1 km until you reach Allée Hohle Felsen.
(10) Turn left. Turn right with the road and negotiate the long left-hand bend. Then turn right onto Rue Willerhoff and follow it straight ahead for 500 m until you reach a junction with Avenue Rathsamhausen.
(11) Turn left and after 100 m you will arrive back at the junction you passed on the way out. Turn right onto the downhill path to reach the car park (S/E).
