Park in the village of Épiré (municipality of Savennières). The village is not large, but there are a few parking spaces available along the road.
(S/E) Head west and turn into Rue de l'Ancienne Église, then join Rue Thierry Sandre to leave the village.
Once outside the village, turn left onto a downhill road. Pass the hamlet of Les Vaux.
(1) Take the first small path on the right and exit onto the road on the left. Take the road on the left about a hundred metres further on. Turn onto the first path on the right and exit onto the road on the left at the first opening.
(2) Continue left on the road, then further on, turn right onto the carriageway.
Turn left onto the road at the end of the lane, then take a lane on the right a little further on.
Turn right onto the road at the end of the track, then left onto a track 200 metres further on, and continue to the end of the descent.
(3) Turn left at the intersection, then continue along the path until you reach the D111.
(4) Cross the road to continue along the path between the vineyards.
Take one of the paths to pass to the right of the vineyards (at the beginning, in the middle or at the end until you reach the road).
(5) Return along the vineyards, turning right. Arrive at La Roche aux Moines.
(6) Turn onto the fairly steep, stony slope to reach the hamlet.
(7) Pass under the TGV railway tracks and continue on the left, following the Loire. Make a return trip to Pierre Bécherelle.
(8) Turn around and walk for about a hundred metres.
(9) Take the path up to the right to reach the village of Épiré (S/E).
