Around the Boulevard Nature: from Robin Hood to the Parc de la Cigogne

Park in the Biocoop car park, located on Boulevard Louis Leprince Ringuet.

(S/E) Take the path along Boulevard Nature, running alongside the Biocoop car park. Turn onto the first path on the left as you leave the car park. Cross Boulevard Louis Leprince Ringuet and follow it to the right. At the first roundabout, turn left. Follow the Route de Laval for 300 metres and, at the second roundabout, take the right-hand exit. Keep to the verge of the D357 until the first junction.

(1) Turn right onto the lovely Chemin de la Grande Ligne. Walk through the woodland for 1 km. Pass by the imposing 71-metre-high tower belonging to Télédiffusion de France (TDF). In Bel Air, turn right onto the Chemin de Robin des Bois, then ignore the first junction and carry on until you reach the second.

(2) Turn right onto Chemin de Champ Fleury. Stay on the same path, turning left twice, until you reach the Bois de Robin des Bois.

(3) Enter the woods, then emerge onto Chemin de la Foresterie. Turn left and, 50 metres further on, turn right. The path joins Boulevard Nature. Keep left at the junction, then turn left again onto the street, until you reach Parc de la Cigogne.

(4) Enter the park and walk through it for about 700 metres, crossing Rue Charles Fabry. After crossing Rue Claude Bernard (the second street), head towards Route de Degré.

(5) Enter the copse and head up the path on the right, which passes between the houses and crosses two streets. Turn right at the end of the path and admire the beautiful hundred-year-old oak trees. Cross Rue Réaumur, then, at Rue Claude Bernard, turn left. Take the first exit at the roundabout to join Rue Charles Fabry, at the Grand Pin roundabout.

(6) Follow the path to the right, then left, running alongside the Parc de la Cigogne for 600 m, until you reach Rue Martial Vivet, located at the park’s exit.

(7) Turn left and continue straight on until you reach Avenue Bartholdi and its roundabout. Turn right onto the avenue, then right again onto the first path leading to Boulevard Nature. Turn left and head for the Biocoop car park (S/E).
