Parking is available at the village hall car park (Rue de la Warthe) in Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, follow Rue de la Warthe to the right, then turn left at the next junction. After Place du Maréchal Koenig, turn right and head towards the Villa Burrus Park. Walk to the Villa and take thefirst path on the left. Cross over the La Lièpvrette stream and join Rue Maurice Burrus.
Blue Ring signposting
(1) Turn left, then right after the Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines Town Hall. Walk past Saint-Nicolas Church, then, after the bend, continue along Rue du Grand Rombach on the left. Pass through the hamlet of Aux Envers and head to the next junction.
(2) Follow the path on the right.
(3) At the next bend, stay on the path on the left, heading towards Grand Rombach, and continue along the winding path.
(4) Continue climbing straight ahead to reach Creux Chêne, where there is a shelter.
Yellow Circle markings
(5) Descend a few metres to the left, and follow the path on the right which, after several bends, joins the Chemin du Grand Rombach.
Blue Ring markings
(6) Turn left, following the stream of the same name, and continue to the Grand Rombach Chapel.
(7) Follow the path to the right to the hamlet of Surpense. From there, follow the path on the right to the next junction.
Signposted with a Yellow Cross and Red Ring
(8) Follow the path on the left, which runs alongside a stream, to the next junction, where there is a cross.
Blue Ring markings
(9) Follow the path on the left, which passes in front of the Chapel of Saint-Antoine de Petit Rombach. Then continue straight on to reach the entrance to Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines.
Green Ring signpost
(10) First turn right then left to cross the D459, pass in front of the Square du Général de Gaulle, then the bridge over La Lièpvrette. After thethird street on the left, follow the path on the left which leads to Rue de la Warthe, where the village hall car park is located (S/E).
