Depart from Quelmer, with your back to La Rance, on Rue de La Passagère via theGRP® (red and yellow markings).
(S/E) At the junction with Rue Adrien Chevalier, turn left and join the Rance at Troctin Bay.
(1) At the end, cross the stream to join the path on the left and enter an area that may be marshy depending on the level of the Rance and overgrown with vegetation for about a hundred metres. (If it is not possible to follow theGRP®, take the path opposite and return to the road just before Troctin to continue the proposed route). After this tricky section, continue along the grassy path before following the wall surrounding the Château de la Basse Flourie. At the end, go up the road on the right and, at the top of the hill, turn right again. After 100 metres, leave theGRP® and take the C28, going down to the right via Rue du Troctin and then Rue de la Goélette.
(2) At the end of the houses, turn left onto Rue de la Goëleterie towards La Vieuville. At the junction with the road, turn right and continue to the Petit Bois campsite crossroads, then turn left onto the footpath towards the village of St Jouan des Guérets. Before the D137, turn right towards the village and walk along the back of the shopping centre. Go down the steps and continue along the grassy path before walking along a stone wall to reach the Saint François Chapel.
(3) Take the path on the left and continue along Rue du Puits au Roi on the left, then opposite, take Chemin de La Malabry until you reach Rue du Fougeray. Turn left, cross the roundabout in front of the stadium and head towards the church and then the town hall. Turn left onto the D204 and go under the D137 bridge.
(4) After the place called "L'Aulnay Quinard", turn right onto "La Lande Grêle" and at "La Ville ès Brèt", turn right to pass La Ronce and catch up with theGRP® in front of you towards La Rance at Beauregard. Pass under the D137 bridge again, then cross the D117 to join theGRP® on the right and then on the left on the banks of the La Rance basin.
(5) Walk along the right-hand side of the old tide mill and follow the markings.
(6) At Pointe du Grouin, take the stairs on the right, join and follow the road. At the end of the marina, cross the small concrete staircase and continue along the raised path opposite the Harteau and Notre Dame islands. Stay on the edge of La Rance on theGRP® to go around La Pointe de la Roche du Port on the left and discover Ile Chevret. Cross several log staircases. At the end of the cove, turn left to cross the raised stone passageway and then the wooden footbridge to descend the other bank via the path on the left. At the shipyard, go up the road on the right to reach Rue de La Passagère and finish (S/E).
